Great day of avian lectures yesterday. Tried to call the kiddos at night but stbx didn't answer phone (today says I called too late..7:30..)
Last night was supposed to be alumni receptions until I found out my college wasn't having one(! - not enough alum from my school came here this year I guess...) so I went to the student one instead and partied with them! Self-serving as we're looking to hire at least 2 new vets so I passed out a bunch of business cards and made a bunch of contacts which is great!! Ate dinner with my bud and his friend then stayed up late night (no gambling tho!) at the House of Blues downstairs in the casino. Got back to my room around 2am....
This morning was fun as I have put up some of the pix my kids had drawn for me before the trip all over the place. Miss them a bit I do (jeeze..I sound like Yoda).
Today did the exhibit hall in the AM (hundreds of vendors...it's crazy) and picked up a few new things: new surgical scissor, textbook on endoscopy, electronic stethoscope. Afternoon sessions were all on building a new facility or remodeling and the relationships between us (owner), architect and builder. Great stuff as we'll be into the thick of this in the coming few years.
Tonight is wide open but I'm sure I'll be hangin with Jeff and seeing what kind of trouble we can get into!! Need to find another company sponsored bar-tab!!!!

I wish I was there.....the House of Blues sounds like that would be my thing, not much of a gambler tho. I haven't been to Vegas in at least 10 years. :( What is that one place, Studio54? That was kind of crazy, I think it was at the MGM.

Partied with ya at heart tonight. The kids are with dad so went out with the girls after work for a few. No good looking men to pick up though! Where are all of them? Must be in Vegas! Ha-Ha.
