Have the kiddos here this weekend!
Went to the beach today!! ALL FREAKIN DAY!! The kind of beach day that when you carry the stuff back to your car, you're toting an extra 20lbs of sand!! When we got back to my house I told the kids to strip down cuz I was going ot hose them down like DOGS and sure enough I did...then my daughter said "Our turn!!" and they took the hose and got daddy all cleaned off before going in the house! What a gorgeous day! I'll have to post pix soon of being on the beach...it was simply awesome. My oldest (7) was out in the waves, my 5yo 1/2 way out and my little princess was content to merely frolick in the breakers along the beach and get shells. We all napped in the afternoon, I cooked them dinner then we went to see a free magician's show for kids at a local library. Sundaes @ McD's then home for bed.
Today was really the type of day I hope they remember and can reflect back upon as the grow up. Sure, we're not nuclear, but they can have a lot of love and support from mommy and certainly a lot of love & support from daddy. It's only Sat. but I'm already missing them as they go back to mom's house Monday after dinner....
Will post pix soon. Great to meet so many new ppl here since my 'time off' as well as reconnect with old friends! :)

I know what you mean about missing your kids. I haven't seen mine since Friday morning but will be picking them up soon. Glad you had a fun weekend. Looking forward to seeing the pics.
