  I am with you on the emotional level. But I know that as my divorce gets nearer I will be on that emotional roller coaster again. We finally got a case number but now we have to both take a parenting class before we get a court date. Go figure a parenting class for after the marriage is over. I am lucky though he is not fighting me on custody. I didn't think he would since he was the one that walked out. Keep in touch and let us know how the 8/13 appointment goes.

  Thanks, I see yours are as well. I am still having a difficult time with my divorce. My ex has just started seeing someone recently who lives in the next townhome building to his. She looks younger and blond which I am not. I know he was an absolute jerk to me and I deserve better, however it does not hurt that much less. When our marriage ended after 17 yrs. we had a beautiful home, I used to drive a lexus, and we had a nice life. He said he did not want to have the marriage end, however he wasn't making the effort to make it work either. I had a job loss. Which was pretty detremental with our new home we purchased in 2000. He opened up his own acct. and stopped giving me money. I went through my savings and am in major debt. That is a loving supportive hubby, Hah? He was always running out of the house to take our son to hockey. Suspicous cell bills, keeping his car and cell phone locked. I wasn't born yesterday. People that have nothing to hide hide nothing, right? Thanks again for your hug! Hope you are doing well with your situation. I am here in early morning or at night.   Read your journal. Sorry to hear your situation. You sound like a great Dad! My son is also into hockey. Rollerhockey and Ice hockey. My kids are helping me get through a nasty divorce.

  Your children are going to remember every moment of fun with you. You sound like and awesome dad. I don't think you are asking too much on the visitation with the children. That is what our arrangements are and my son seems to be happy with that. I wish you luch.

  Sounds like you had a great weekend with your children. I hope you used plenty of sunblock. HA The time spent with our children is so precious. I too am like you, if I don't take my son to mass with me he would never go, because his father won't even go near a church let a long take him to mass. One day our children will look back and remember these times and appreciate us more for being there to care for them and not be a self absorb indivindual that our selfish former partners can be.
