PLEASE! hang in there i can feel your pain because i spent almost everyday with my girlfriend, she was my best friend as well.I I felt like we were married even though legally we weren,t. Type: Loss of a Partner/SpouseKeith was my soul mate.He was truly my best friend,the one I leaned on.He was always my shield. We had a great life together,planning our future together.We had just decided to get married in Hawaii.We had dreams, goals, plans.We laughed, we loved, we respected and admired each other.He was the kind of guy everyone knew and liked.He was the one man who was able to break through to the core of me, to obtain my whole heart. Unexpectedly, he passed on 3/24/08 and I am completely lost without him.
Treatments
- Crying Too Soon to Tell
- its always uncontrollable. associated with anger, feel like i am lost and dont know what to do with myself
- Getting Angry Too Soon to Tell
- I get mad at the whole situation, the chain of events, and even want to blame myself for certain things. I find it completely unfair that I am the one left here in this world without the love of my life.
- Keeping Busy Somewhat Helpful
- I'm back at work and I try to work as much as I can. I used to always call him on my way out the door to tell him I was coming home. I am overcome with sadness every day because there is no one to go home to, no one to call, and my ride home is devastating.
- Prayer Working / Worked
- I have a great support group of friends and family who are praying me through every day. I believe I'd be very destructive if it wasn't for their support.
- Scrapbooking Considering
- I am sill compiling every aspect of our life to put together in a scrap book, so I can reflect of the memories we shared.
- Talking Somewhat Helpful
- Being able to talk about what happened helps me deal with the fact that it is real. I still am hoping to wake up from this horrible nightmare,and go tell Keith what I just experienced. It helps to talk to friends/family about all the events still going on with his family, picking up the pieces, etc.
- Time Too Soon to Tell
- Time will never heal the loss of a true love and soul mate once you have found it. We have to move on in this life ,but time won't make it better that I am alone without him.
Close Widows & Widowers
i lost my fiance. he is the love of my life, my soulmate and best friend. people tell me i will move on and maybe will love him in some way forver. in my thoughts, he is who i want to spend eternity with and meet again in heaven.
