My father is 72. He's had heart disease and diabetes for almost twenty years. He has hung in there like a tropper but now he has congestive heart failure along with chronic renal failure and I know his time is near. He spent the winter in a warm place with his estranged wife and came home about a month ago. He is very independent and insists on living alone in a cabin he built though I am very nearby. I can see he is fading quickly. He has been giving away his things.
