Hi there!! I was reading your journal entries and was wondering how you're doing seeing that your last entry was over a week ago. I hope you're feeling better. I don't mean to be nosy but if you could share how surgery was I'd be grateful. Even though I had a really painful surgery on my spinal cord last October I always get nervous when going under the knife. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. Keep your chin up!!! Hi after reading about you i thought i woul send you a hug as I feel the same as you are feeling.Like yourself I have been told the cancer was contained in the kidney,Ihope so for the both of us and many more out there.Being strong and positive helps but doubt will always be there,I go for my first six month check on 15th April.Hope all goes well let us know if you would.

Close Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer)
I found out in Feb that I have kidney cancer. They found it totaly by acciedent. My doctor said that my PSA levels were high and she sent me to see a specialist. That doctor found a mass on my prostate and decide to also do a cat-scan because of having so much back pain and that is how he found the cancer. My prostate is find. So March 7 2008 I had my left kidney removed. They said that the cancer was contained in the kidney. I go back in June for blood work and x-rays to make sure it is gone.
