Emotional Word Picture of My Mood Today (April 11, 2008)

Today, I’m standing watching a man and woman in a classroom.  The classroom is like any other classroom, nothing special.  The class being taught today is Lamaze. 

The woman is lying on mat in the back of the class, with the man sitting beside her.  This man and this woman are partners.  Everything they do in this class, they do together.

The man is holding her hand with so much loving care as the woman breaths in and out, in and out.   The man is showing support for the women and gives her words of encouragement, words of focus and words that seem to relax, as the women breaths in and out, in and out.

As I watch this scene I notice each partner has their own role, but yet they work together as one, a union of one.

I look into the man’s eyes and I see unconditional love for this woman, so deep, so rich, and so strong it brings me to my knees sobbing tears of joy.  

I look into the women’s eyes and I see a confidence in her, a confidence in her partner, a look of empowerment this knowledge and her partner has bestowed in to her very soul.  

This man and this woman, this partnership I see, can handle any of life's problems, any difficulties put in their path, as long as the man and the woman face them together, as partners.

As I watch this scene, I get a feeling of how natural this is between these two people.  As I watch this scene, I see this man and this woman (partners) working together, communicating together, and working for a greater good, a higher purpose.   As I watch this scene, I realize this too is the type of partnership I now seek in my life

Explanation of How My Emotional Word Picture Fits My Life Situation:

For me, the classroom is marriage.

For me, the partnership between the man and the woman is the type of relationship I wish to find in my future life.  It is the type of relationship where communication, support and love prevail.    It is a union of one, but yet two people exist individually, committed to each other, supporting each other’s needs and loving each other unconditionally.   It is a partnership of forgiveness, understanding and common purpose.

Life Lesson:

I don’t’ know if god will give me another chance at a relationship, but if that gift is bestowed in my life once again, I will cherish it, I will honor it and my love will be unconditional.
