ok. I emailed the lawyer yesterday and called his office today to make an appointment. Waiting to hear back and gathering evidence every day. I am trying to carry on like nothing is wrong. I know I will melt down eventually and hope its not before I have my ducks in a row (thus my icon). Funny how how he has been so cheery and glib! He was so romantic on my anniversary 3 weeks ago. He left roses next to me so when I woke up I would see them. (he leaves for work at 5:30 am) I told everyone how romantic he was! What a fool I am. You are not a fool. You are a smart woman, who loved her husband. But, take that control and do what you need to do!

I felt like fool at one point since we separated and someone said to me. You are not a fool for trusting the man you married.

Try to get copies of any of your financial information. Make sure he's not hiding anything from you. Make sure you have a list of questions to ask your lawyer, and find one that may not require money upfront. Good luck, stay strong. It's so hard being hurt and trying not to show it.
