Daddy continues to fade Mood

July 23, 2008 -- I spent the weekend with my parents and Daddy has failed a lot since I was there last. He is under hospice care which appears to be good but he does not like having to depend on others and Mama does not like having people in her house. So it was a stressful weekend.

Since nobody reads this, I will leave it there.

hey sweet woman. I am so sorry you are going through this with your Dad. I lost my dad 12 years ago so I know what that is like. we are getting to that age, you and I , where we are going to be burying our parents. It is not a pleasant thing to look forward to. Thanks Nancy -- I came to this site to get support for the long haul, and it irks me that I dont get much; but that too is a function of getting older I guess. Grumpy old lady that I am becoming. Well, as my sainted Southern Granny observed, we must cut our coat to fit our cloth.
