I love the new pictures. That boy is adorable. don't you just love the pictures of their little "parts"? We have one of Brayden that I treasure. I'm sure the grandparents hated to see you leave. I fly down to Atlanta on the 25th and I can't wait. It seems like an eternity since I saw my grandson. I have never gone this long without seeing him since he was born....I miss him so much. They just change almost daily and he is talking so much and has the sweetest little voice. So glad things have worked out so well for you. You deserve it! hugs

Close Infertility
We've tried all artificial reproductive techniques, did 6th IVF in May 2007 & it worked! It was our last chance for our own bio baby. Our diagnosis is idiopathic infertility (unknown cause).
Treatments
- Repronex Somewhat Helpful
- Drug works same as Menopur.
- Acupuncture Working / Worked
- Did 12 weekly treatments before IVF. Also did daily "moxa" or moxibustion treatments (burning Chinese herbs close to skin).
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- 4 failed attempts before moved on to IVF.
- Basal Thermometer Somewhat Helpful
- Did this for one year straight before moving on to infertility consult.
- Clomid Somewhat Helpful
- Created several healthy looking follies but no pregnancy.
- Estrogen Patch Working / Worked
- Did what it was supposed to do to prepare uterine lining for FET. Unfortunately the embies didn't stick around.
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Follistim Working / Worked
- Gonal-F made lots of well-graded follies. Successful pg on last fresh IVF attempt! Made me feel very bloated and tender.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Ouch! Had this done twice over 5 years. Didn't find any problems either time.
- Hysteroscopy Working / Worked
- Had this done twice. Never found a problem. Easy test - basically an US with saline rinse. Wear a maxi pad afterwards cuz you'll be leaking water for a couple of hours!
- In Vitro Fertilization Working / Worked
- All our fresh IVFs (3) were done with ICSI. One failed, one resulted in 12 week miscarriage, and the last resulted in our little Charlie Max. All of our frozen IVFs (3) failed.
- Lupron Working / Worked
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Somewhat Helpful
- Progesterone Somewhat Helpful
- Injections and messy vaginal pills. I stayed on the injections into my 2nd trimester and we had success! All other times I stopped earlier, I miscarried. STAY on PROGESTERE THROUGHOUT YOUR ENTIRE 1ST trimester!
- Repronex Somewhat Helpful
- Drug works same as Menopur.
Close Non-hodgkin's Lymphoma
Husband (38 yr) is almost 2 yrs in remission.
Treatments
- Cytoxan Working / Worked
- Neulasta Working / Worked
- Bone pain!
- Rituxan Working / Worked
- Vincristine Working / Worked
- Caused neuropathy (hands were numb for months)
Open Parenting Newborns & Infants (0-1)
Our long awaited son was born January 31, 2008.
