About Me
I'm the mother of 3 beautiful teenagers that I love more than life... 17 & 15 yr old boys & a 13 yr old girl. I said 'I do' when I shouldn't have... He's not worth my time to explain him. I left him July 19, 2007. I have a lawyer's appointment Aug 19th. I am getting a divorce. I like living single... I like sleeping single in a double bed... I like eating icecream for supper... I like DSing all hours of the night... I like waking up when I feel like waking up and going to bed when I feel like going to bed... I like not living with a 'daddy'...

After lunch today I get the results from my biopsy and we are set to close on the house tomorrow at 2pm. We slept thru Hanna. Looks like you might be getting Ike. Want to bunk in NC?
Prayer
Well, c'mon back. I've got one extra bed and a double size inflatable if you need it. I have to work all week and my house is a huge mess, but I can extend some storm hospitality if you need it. Is it me or have hurricanes gotten worse in the past few years? I don't remember things like this happening 10-20 years ago (evacuations).

Close Fibromyalgia
I now have arthritis & fibromyalgia. I also stay sick due to the fact that I'm allergic to almost everything on this planet, including EGGS, PINAPPLE, & CHOCOLATE, 3 of my 4 favorite foods, the other is cinnamon. I'm not telling my dr, because I think he hates me or something. The food & planet sensitivities are due to the fibromyalgia.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- I feel Cymbalta is one of the reasons I am still alive... Probably the biggest reason.
- Duragesic Patch Somewhat Helpful
- Didn't like them... Slept too much. Couldn't function...
- Guaifenesin Somewhat Helpful
- Can't say that this worked. I read it on the Internet & tried it. It did help with the bronchitis, though.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- I swear by Lyrica. It makes the flu-like body aches soooo much better. I can actually function on some days ~ proves my body really does still work... Side effects: WEIGHT GAIN, but it is worth it... Also, the first couple of weeks I took it I was unreal sleepy & also had bouts of vertigo.
Close Breakups & Divorce
The abuse included mental, verbal, psychological, and sexual. The sexual was the worst.

Open Chronic Pain
I got in a wreck in '98. I've had 2 neck surgeries & surgery on my right shoulder and both wrists. I need another neck surgery but I'm refusing it for now. I now have arthritis & fibromyalgia. - Chiropractic Adjustment Not Working
- And $30,000 later, I can tell you it does not work for herniated discs. Side effect... I'm out $30,000...

- Flexeril Somewhat Helpful
- It did work to a point, but I had to go to something stonger.
- Heat Working / Worked
- This is an on-going work in progress thing. I use heat when my neck or low back hurts a certain way. Side effect... may cause you to sweat...
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Vicodin eases the pain & makes the pain bearable, but it doesn't kill the pain. Nothing kills the pain, it just takes the bite outta it. Side effects: ADDICTION & some weight gain Biggest issue I have with them is people finding out that I'm on them & they want them to get high...
- Lidoderm Working / Worked
- These are wonderful little patches... They can be cut to size to use anywhere on the body. Love them... Only problem I have with them is I have to tape the edges or they will roll up...
- Lyrica Working / Worked

- Naproxen Somewhat Helpful
- It actually worked by reducing the inflammation, thus reducing the pain, but the pain level is too high to use it alone.
- Nerve Blocks Working / Worked
- Mine worked as long as the dr put it in the right place. If you're gonna use this, just make sure you trust the dr... They don't last long enough...
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Used it years ago for nerve damage to my neck & right arm. It works like Lyrica & takes the ache outta the pain.
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- Oh, OxyContin great as pain control, it was just impossible to function in life. I slept most part of a 24 hr day. I also burnt my house down in my OxyContin days, not on purpose, either. I was just so forgetful. Side effects: YOU DON'T HAVE PAIN, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE A LIFE EITHER.
- TENS Working / Worked
- I use my TENS mostly for my lower back pain. I have a herniated disc there, too. It works like the chiropractor therapy pads. Only thing I didn't like about it was I can't drive when I'm wearing it.
