is feeling OK
I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis October of 2007. It is currently under control, except my eye still droops occasionally. Also, I have Bipolar Disorder, which, unfortunately, is not under control lol. In fact, I think that since my muscle disorder has been handled, all the racing thoughts, and mood swings, and hypomania has actually gotten worse. So if you have any issues with Bipolar, I'd love to hear your story =]
Music, Writing, People in General. Also, I've been studying in Bipolar a lot, and plan on becoming a psychiatrist =]

I understand how you feel
I understand how you feel,I'm often confined to my home.On bad days my friends and family will come and visit me, though at first they were reluctant to,they were afraid they would be disturbing me, but I let them know that I welcomed their visits, that I needed their visits to remain in touch and not feel so cut off. Since then I have had more visitors and consequently feel like I'm still a part and that is a good feeling. Another suggestion, if I may, try to get out of bed if you can, it may take you awhile but it would be good for you. I try to walk everyday around the block, I walk 10 or 20 steps, stop and rest then walk some more, it takes me a long time but I do make it. If I can't walk the block, I walk around the yard and if I can't do that I walk around the house. Try my dear, you have to keep your muscles as much as you can! You are so young and have a lot of life to live, try with God's help to live and not just exist. Take care Zoya, Ken
Hugs and prayer. I know a little about how you feel as I couldn't do a lot of things as a teen due to a heart condition. Can friends come see you when you aren't able to get out? YOu are in my thoughts & prayers. I am believing God will show you a way to live with your disease, not just exist. Love, Diane
I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis last year, and its been a major trip, to say the least. I'm a lot better than I was last year, but I'm still not well enough to leave the house. Sometimes, I can't even get out of bed. I'm not sure what else to do, so I'll need some help. =]
I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, though just got off some medication that didn't work. I have a psychiatrist, though haven't seen her yet, so I am not really treated, but I can see and acknowledge the symptoms, and what state I'm in at the time.
