Sill going to curves. Weighin in 3 weeks!
I know it's been a while, and I apologize. Between work and everything else that occurs in real life, sometimes there just isn't any time!
But things are decent. Could be better, true, but could be worse also.
Triathlon is now three weeks away. My friend is coming along again, and this time I plan on sticking with her the whole time. I will be damned if I don't get her across the finish line with me this time. That isn't happening, and we're going to support each other all the way through!
We did a 5k run this weekend, but our times stunk. Came in at 34 1/2 minutes. I worry that we lost what little passion we had for running, but we can at least say we got out there and did it anyways. Granted, the weather was awful on Saturday to begin with. Hazy, Hot, Humid, no breeze. Definitely not my idea of fun. I tend to hide inside with the AC on those days.
As far as the weight loss goal, I may have succeeded in my goal. If I can hold under 225 for the next couple of weeks, I will consider it complete. The scale from that program I'm doing said I was 219.5 last week, which shocked me to no end! I didn't eat as much that week because of the heat (I tend to just drink fluids and eat cold items like popsicles and ice cream, when it gets hot. Food just makes me feel weighed down). So am I hopeful? Yes, but we'll see what happens tomorrow with the final weigh-in.
