whew. 8:30AM and already 70 degrees outside. Guess when those bad storms come tonight I'll be in the stormhouse!! Anyway I'm sitting here drinking iced tea and watching this boa on tv swallow a deer. Now THAT is cool. Things are ok for right now. No arguments in the last 24 hours and a few kind words this morning. Little does he know I've been checking out our government website to see what kind of financial help I would qualify for if I decide to take the kids and go soon. Wish this lay-off would end soon. I miss my job so bad. If Bush does send more troops over there, we get a new contract for the field jacket, but that's good for us, bad for our troops. God bless them all. Good news for NE Mississippi, though. Yesterday our governor announced that Toyota will be building a new factory about 40 minutes away from my town. That's over 2000 new jobs!!! Our state got hit hard with Katrina so this brings in much needed funds. Our furniture industries keep having lay-offs and closings, it's hard on everyone around here to make it these days. Our state is so poor and I guess the instability keeps me from leaving this situation I'm in. Things can be so good sometimes..you know, years ago wives were supposed to look the other way when their husbands had mistresses. In fact, alot of women were glad to not have to put up with their "lustful and degrading" advances. Times and diseases have changed things, though. My great-grandmother would NEVER have dreamed of getting a divorce just because her husband had an affair. As long as he took care of home and children, he was welcome to do as he pleased and she wouldn't have thought there was anything wrong with that. well, guess I've blew enough hot air today. My tea glass needs a refill.
