I am 38 and married, I have had TN for 8 years. I had an MVD 2 years ago and Gamma Knife in December 2007. The GK has taken a bit of time to work, but I have been pain free for 2 months and am reducing my meds :)

Close Trigeminal Neuralgia
I got TN 8 years ago, and luckily was diagnosed within 3 months. I had an MVD in March 2006, and in December 2007 I had gamma knife - neither of which seem to have worked.
Treatments
- Gamma Knife Not Working
- Worked for 2 months then the pain is back - one episode the worst ever. I am still on my durgs, but am not sure if they have lost their effect
