Im Christian. Married to Neil, our son(Gerrit) is 4 year old and has been diagnosed with Autism. I am currently Pregnant till sometime in January 09. My brother (Anthony) lives with us he's undiagnosed but may have Aspbergers and Depression. As for me I have all kinds of issues I just put them up in the support groups and stuff as they change.

Close Healthy Relationships
Have a rocky relationship for 4 years now. We have a special needs child, and we both come from abused backgrounds.
Treatments
- Talking Too Soon to Tell
- We had a huge blow out, then i showed neil abuse cycles and things were going through and he is admitting things now and hopefully will go to counselling like he said and we can move forward and break cycles.
- Writing Somewhat Helpful
- I write anything out, but i never look back over what i have written out. Unless its like a song or something. It does usually get the feelings out.

- It cuts back on the acne, but doesnt completely get rid of it. Side Effects: lightens my eye brows colour.

- I keep his sugar consumption down.
- Brushing Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- It did help him to relax, but then i kept losing the brush :(
- Floor-Time Therapy Working / Worked
- They do this with IBI.
- Pets Working / Worked
- We have 2 dogs and now 3 cats, he really seems to center when there around and he walks better in public too.
- Picture / Word Schedules Somewhat Helpful
- Its hard to keep changing cards, especially since he doesnt know what they all mean. But it has helped when things were shown for him.

- They do this also with IBI.
