ok ...half full or half empty?
Went to see the pdoc yesterday. He said he's never seen anyone effected as severely with the mentaly dibilitating side effects of Lamictal. …
You know what? I'm breathing. That's pretty good. I have rapid cycling bipolar. Whether it's type 1 or 2 I don't know. 2 docs have said 1, 2 have said 2. I don't care really. I cycle every 10 - 14 weeks. Mostly controlled by meds (Lithium and Depakote), but I still have breakouts now and then. I have 3 bipolar kids. One cycles about every 6 months, and and is on Lamictal. One cycles nearly annually, and is also on Lamictal. One cycles almost right with me, and is on Lithium. That's about all I feel like putting in this space, because anything else would be coloured by my mood at the time it's written.

Initially diagnosed in my 20s as a Sociopathic Psychopath. Unmedicated, living pretty much "off the grid" I was then diagnosed with ADHD and put on ritalin, which sent me into the worst manic episode ever. Then depression, wrong again, back to the hospital. I grew to enjoy the hospital
