About Me
I am recently separated from my husband of 17 years. I am the proud mother of three wonderful sons. In Dec. 2007 I was diagnosed with stage iv colon cancer and am currently receiving chemo. God does not give us more than we can handle--He gives us the ability to handle what we are given. I finished up chemo in June and am now feeling great. I go back for a pet scan in August and I have faith that all is going to be good. Last scan there was no growth or spread on the liver spot and I expect the same with the next scan. With God all things are possible...

My husband of 17 years and I separated in Sept 07. It has been a long hard journey but I have decided its for the best. It has taken me this long to realize that. I am the mom of 3 sons and although the marriage is ending I wouldn't trade all the years we had together for anything--I got 3 great boys out of the deal!!
Close Infidelity
Husband of 17 years decided the grass was greener on the other side...can't wait til he finds out there is just more crap over there...lol. I've been separated since Sept '07 and am finally at peace with it all. His loss. Mom to three wonderful sons and I am now able to see the big picture in life.
Open Colon Cancer
Stage: IV (Any T, Any N, M1)Diagnosed with stage iv colon cancer in Dec. 07. Began chemo in Jan. Have completed 9 out 12 cycles. Thankfully I haven't been very sick and am able to still function. A pet scan in April showed no growth or spread of the spot on my liver and doctors want me to finish out the 12 cycles of chemo and then return for another pet scan in August. I strongly believe in the power of prayer and am very blessed to have so many praying for me. I am a mom of 3 boys and intend on seeing them grown.
