About Me
After almost 4 months of being out of work, I can't say I'm used to it, but it isn't as bad as it was in April. I'm managing to do some of the things I've wanted to do, but find myself getting a bit agoraphobic since I've been home. But I'm stressing with issues concerning insurance, and my husband's bad knee. I stress about everything.

Close Bipolar Disorder
I have been bipolar since I was a teenager (maybe before) but wasn't diagnosed until 2002. I take several meds and wish I could get off of them, but know I'll always be bipolar so will always have to take some combination of them. I have peripheral symptoms like IBS triggered by my "nerves" associated with my bipolar condition. I tend to the depressive stage of this condition. Meds help but I always am in some state of depression. The meds just level things off.
Treatments
- Geodon Working / Worked
- Seems to be working better than risperdal
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- Again, seems to have leveled off my moods
- Lithium Working / Worked
- Seroquel Somewhat Helpful
- Helps me to sleep
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- I don't think it is helping me any more. I've been very depressed, and unable to work.
