My stbx had DUI court today . I've been with her every time for the last 3 months. This time during my no contact rule. I told her if she didn't want me anymore why should I go to court with her any more. Well since my experiences in the last week, my feelings are different about me,her & our life together & what GOD can do in our lives. When i awoke today I had great pressure on my heart about the decision about going to court with her. So I texted her saying that I would go if she wanted but it was her call. She said she did want me to go for support. Maybe stupid on my part but I have to follow my heart & what GOD puts in it. I didn't gobecause she wanted but because i did. Ill stand beside her until I get the strong sign from GOD saying ok son it's time to let her go. Im not giving up yet I LOVE HER.

It's ok to love the person but not the bad things they are doing. I know how you feel about wanting to do the right thing. Many times we get hurt or bitter and want to make the person who has hurt us feel the same pain we feel. But this is not what God would have us do. It is hard to go against the grain or against the flow, but the right thing is usually in that direction. The world would tell you to give your wife the ole boot and take care of yourself. But God tells us to do good to them that hate us and pray for them which despitefully use us for His sake. This is not easy at times but when we do the right thing, we will have a peace about it and know in our hearts that we have done what we should. You have a good heart that is sensitive to the voice of God. He will honor that in the end and whatever happens will be best for you. No one ever goes wrong by loving another because this is what we are commanded to do with no stipulations. LOVE ONE ANOTHER.....period!!! I applaud you for your compassion and thoughtfulness toward your wife during a difficult time. This is the way we are supposed to be...."Selfless"...not "Selfish". My prayers are with you my friend!!!
