About Me
I am a 26 yo IT professional. I have joined this site mainly as a support to two very good friends. While talkig to one, I may also ail from a similar affliction. I have no professional diagnosis. I do have my share of problems. Many are minor in comparison to other's. But I also am in need of help. I'm never gonna get it if I don't ask. I figure it's worth a shot. Maybe I can help a few others in the process of my own healing.
Interests

Close Depression
I was diagnosed many years ago as a child with severe depression. I found out why, confronted the problem, and returned to my mental health. I'm trying to not let this bullshit come back.
Treatments
- Positive Thinking Not Working
- I am self-defeatist. All attempts thus far have failed.
- Prozac Working / Worked
- Put on it as a child, worked in the beginning, but effects faded quickly
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- As a child, I was able to gain strength to confront the source of my depression.
- Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
- My family is too close to me to really see or listen. My friends are amazing, but in the end it's up to me.
- Writing Somewhat Helpful
- Helps during the writing, but not much afterwards.
