Close COPD & Emphysema

Hi.. I will be 52 years young next month. I have had COPD most of my adult life. I was diagnosed with chronic bronchitis ar 31 and Emphysema at 42. I am an ex-smoker, started as a teenager and smoked for 28 years. When they told me I had "early stage" emphysema, I quit smoking. I have been smoke free for almost 10 years now. I am fortunate enough to still have a pretty normal life., although I have my days, especially when it is wet and cold or hot and humid.

Treatments

Advair Working / Worked

Ye sit works, eases tightness and difficulty in breathing. It is a very good drug. No side effects to speak of.

Atrovent Working / Worked

Yes it works. It is a mild drug. But I am told that it is a noticeable help, especially when I am sleeping - no lung noise.

Theophylline Working / Worked

Yes it works.. no side effects
