My date last night was less than interesting.  I'm not sure what my girlfriend thought when she set us up.  Cute but all about himself and trying to impress with his possessions.  At least it was just dinner.  I was so glad to get home.....Kathy was surprised that he bragged so much and acted so self-absorbed, but she doesn't know him that well.  He's more Tom's friend.  She was going to ask us both to their lake house if we had hit it off...at least I still get my invite to the lake house.    It's beautiful at Smith Mountain Lake, VA. 

I've gotten alot done today, but more to do.  Taking two accelerated classes at the same time is turning out to be very time consuming.  I'm procrastinating...or maybe I could say I'm just taking a break (that's the positive spin).  The rest of the weekend will be packed.  I've got to finish essay questions for American History and start reading for Organizational Development, grocery store, continue training for 5K, cleaning house, and oh mattress shopping.  I don't want to discuss paying bills - always hate that.

Tomorrow I'm meeting Nancy to hang out and catch up since we're both without our mothers.  Should be fun...we always laugh and act silly.  We only get together every two or three months so it's always a treat.

Lauren's wedding is going to be so interesting.  Seeing all the ex-relatives.  Lauren told me that my ex-sister-in-law and ex-mother-in-law are really excited about seeing me.  It's been many years since I've seen them.  There will be lots of other crazy relatives there too.  I'm sure there will be embarrassing moments to report....

Things seem to be really going well.  I've got a list of wedding stuff to work on.  I've got to find votives in large quantity at cheap price.  I guess I'll try Michael's first but not sure they will be all that cheap.  I've got to start thinking about a dress for the wedding too.  Yikes!! 

Okay, gotta stop procrastinating and get back to being productive.  Thanks journal for listening to me.  I'm starting to get into the journaling some...wasn't sure about it at first. Not that I have breakthrough moments journaling or anything like that but it's nice to write what's on my mind (or at least what I'm willing to share in a forum like this).
