I Can't Believe It! Mood
Thursday, May 8, 2008 | A Happy story
My little girl turns 25 tomorrow.  I so can't believe it.  She's my LITTLE girl.  She's now a young woman living life to the fullest and I am so proud of her.  Ten years ago, it would have been hard to imagine what good friends we are now.  Teen years at their best are very tough and we had some tough times.  She and I were on our own since she was five.  We both grew up so much together.  I miss so many of the times we had back then -- she was always a busy little girl -- taking dance, girl scouts, playing sports -- t-ball, softball, soccer, and her dream sport volleyball, band, and school activities, and always having friends around.  Our house was the house that all the kids liked to come to.  She was salutatorian of her high school graduating class and double-majored at UNC-Chapel Hill in business and French.  She spent the year after graduation living in Paris working (at HEC) and playing/traveling.  I went over for two weeks in 2006 and we had the most amazing time.  With her being so familiar with France and speaking the language fluently, I had my own little tour guide.  It was truly like she was the mom and I was the kid.  We laughed so much.  It was a most excellent experience, as Keanu would say!!  Smile  So even though as she celebrates another birthday and that makes me a year older too, I wouldn't trade seeing her grow up for a minute!!!

Happy Happy Birthday to your baby girl that is now 25!!
I hope that she has one of the happiest birthdays ever and that her birthday is perfect in every way.
I love your special relationship with her - like I've said before there is no relationship like that between a mother and daughter!
Eric's therapist, Aubrey, brought me mothers day cakes from Tiffany's bakery this morning and I had two w/ coffee so I'm starting the day out happy and right. (With food in my tummy and not just coffee). It's so funny that you don't care for coffee and I couldn't live w/out it. Other than that I think we have very much in common.
Love to you Anni! Oh and your new profile picture is SMOKIN! You are just a temptress Ms. Anni!
p.s. One of my favorite movies is "A walk in the clouds". Have you seen that one w/ your man K?

Happy Birthday to your daughter. It makes me happy to hear relationships like you and your daughter. There is certaintely no doubt that you are one terrific mom and did one heck of a job raising her by yourself. She has turned out brilliant!! I can only hope that my children and I have the close bond that you and your daughter have as they continue to grow.

A big Texas birthday wish to your daughter. I know what its like to have wonderful daughters too. I've been blessed with 2 of them. I read your entry to my Katie who is about to start a new adventure to college. The first thing she said was "I want to go to Paris after I graduate!" So you see, not only are you an inspiration but so is your wonderful daughter. I know your happiness. It feels absolutely wonderful, doesn't it? Congrats to both of you. You are an amazing mom! Oh yeah, Happy Mothers Day! :) Take care! Joanna

I am doing about the same.  My allergies seem to be getting a bit better.  I am just guessing that my Vitamin D levels are low by now, so I am remembering to take the vitamin D.  Last year at this time I was tested and was very ...
