I feel so happy today.  Work was busy.  The president of the company was visiting, so a little tense but good.

Started working on plans for Lauren's shower with her bridesmaids.  It's going to be so much fun.  It's so cool that the girls always like to include me.  Makes me feel cooler than I really am. 

I have finally been able to get someone to help me get Roy Williams' autograph.  Adam wants to do this for Lauren's birthday.  I've been having much difficulty trying to get into the inner sanctuary of the UNC basketball staff.  Finally, someone is willing to help me get Roy's autograph on the same basketball she has autographed by Dean Smith (he signed a couple of years ago when Lauren met him at a sunami relief charity dinner).  Hopefully, it will all work out.

I started my online American History class on Monday and finishing up Organizational Behaviour class tomorrow night.     

I'm signing up for a 5K to run on June 21st.  Lauren will be in town for her bridal shower and is running with me.  I've also recruited a couple of girls from work to train with me and we are going to run the race together. 

I must, must, must buy a new mattress this weekend.  Lauren gave me the money for my birthday in November.  She's now taking a hard line with me.  If I don't have the mattress by the time she visits in June, she says she won't stay with me.  She can be tough....so I won't chance it and get the mattress she wanted me to have several months ago.  Now that's a thoughtful gift.

My niece graduates from high school in a couple of weeks and I will be going to Baltimore.  I'm so excited for her.  She starts at the University of Maryland in the fall.  It will be fun now with two UNC-Chapel Hill alumni in the family vs. Univ. of Maryland.  Friendly rivalry is always good.

Well, I should be in bed...but not really tired...so maybe I should go try.....
