Yeah...so another day is upon us. Another day I will struggle through and deal with.
It's raining. It's warm, which is pushing the thunderstorms to the max. I hate thunder. I cry like a little girl. Really. The only good thing about the rain is my grass is actually turning green..Woot woot!~
Mike came home last night with the final word. He's now a foreman. He got his promotion. He signs the papers today. He wont actually "start" for another few weeks, once he trains a guy to take over his job. You'd think he'd come home and drink..to "celebrate". Nope. He had a ginger ale. WTF? Just when I think I have him figured out, I don't. I gave him the cold shoulder and the silent treatment yesterday, so maybe he got the hint. I don't know................
So..Jack's new obsession is youtube. Yeah..I know..he's only 2. I have shown him some music videos and now..every chance he gets he wants to watch Elvis. (Don't be cruel is his fave) He picks up his little kid-sized broom and jams. He also loves "Rock and roll all nite~and party every day" by KISS. He knows all the words and sings, dances and plays his broom..I mean..guitar.
He also sat in my laundry basket today and told me it was his car. He then told me he needed to go get car insurance. He said.."I'm going to Geico". Fucking hilarious!
He always knows when I need a smile.
So..I've determined that I am crazy. Just when I think I'm going to give up and call it quits from the ol' PC for awhile..I come back. So , love me or hate me..I am here.

They get smarter as they get older...wait till he figures out morse code and asks you when you are going to get him a radio so he can call Tractor Jim and "talk" that way! You need to get him a ticatar and teach him to play.
As for Mike, tell him I said congratulations on the promotion; and that I said he should always remember that he is a brother which will make running the crews a heck of a lot harder and easier at the same time. As for him having a ginger ale...GOOD! He is going to need all the support he can get the next while kiddo....keep that in mind. It is a bitch going from worker to boss, especially when the guys you are bossing used to be your best buddies on the project.
