Inspirational lyrics
Forget that you don't have...forget that you don't...just forget it.
Forget that your afraid...forget that you are...don't panic.
Forget …
is feeling Bad
I am living my life in the desert southwest, have been for 'bout 20 years. It is so beautiful here. I make an honest and modest living caring for others as an RN...in hospital, in homes, in the air...you name it. In addition , I have an ailing Mom with Alzheimers who has been living with me. I am a single middle aged gay guy looking for direction and answers ...like everyone else is.
Striving to be happy.
Forget that you don't have...forget that you don't...just forget it.
Forget that your afraid...forget that you are...don't panic.
Forget …
I hope you find some relief for your hives soon. I have had many bouts with hives (the first was when I was 12 years old. It lasted 9 months. The second, was age 25, it lasted 18 months that time. Third, was age 29 lasting for 6 months. This time I have been dealing with it for almost a year. I've tried so many meds that I'm tired of trying them, and very frustrated with the whole ordeal. I just want you to know that you are not alone and that there are people who understand what you're going through.
:) I hear you about appreciating good health. I know exactly what it is like to go through that hell, and all I can say is that someday it will be over. I also understand the self-consciousness about going out in public. I had no choice when I was going through my hives and was going through a time when keeping stres free wasn't an option! I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers hoping that it passes soon for you and those damned hives just fade away into smooth skin again.
good luck. Hope things get better soon
Hi, your hives sound like mine I too take fistfulls of histamine 1 and 2 blockers also leukotrine inhibitors . none of these make any difference. The only thing that does work is the steroid prednisone, but long term effects are not good. I don't believe this is a stress induced disease, just an autoimmune disease. I have been having some success with monthly transfusions of Immunoglobulin. I have had these now for the last 7 months and they definitely reduce the severity of my hives and the assocciated angiodema (swelling). I think it is worth asking your Dr about this treatment.Good luck, please let me know how you get on. The other treatment I am beginning for myself is high dose anti-oxidants. After 2 and a half years I am willing to try anything. But seriously talk to your Dr about IV immunoglobulin therapy. Cheers, Tamvonk
I was rid of hives for so long (>20yrs) that I had all but forgotten the hell that I had gone through with em....3 months ago they came crashing into my life again...no "triggers" just unrelenting itching, disfigurment, fear and frustration at the hopelessness. I am losing sleep, losing work...losing it.
