    This weekend of May 10 & 11 I was really blessed. The church ladie's tea on Saturday at the golf resort overlooked the leeward ocean view off Oahu Hawaii. The delcious brunch went very well, with praise & worship songs, followed by a woman's insprirational testimony and a program. Her testimony of survival from abuse and recovery in her life how God interceeded to break her bondages also inspired me that my abusive past is gone and I can move forward. An assistant female pastor gave a presentation on different phases or status of women from the single, to married, to mom, and the older mature legacies. Two ladies had brought me to the event and back home. When I came home early afternoon some dear friends--a couple--picked me up to go swiming at a beach until early evening and brought me home at sunset. My daughter and her boyfirend had cleaned the kitchen and they grilled a steak dinner!

    Sunday our church had a Mother's Day Special Program honoring all moms with gifts of baskets, flowers and little keepsakes. The men served a little brunch under outside canopies. The van took me to and from church to home again. My daughter surprised me with a gift bag chock full of bath & beauty bottles. Late afternoon my daughter, her boyfireind, and my son took me to dinner at an Italian pasta restaurant. After months of struggling with low self esteem and depression, this weekend's blessings were messages of God reminding me how much he loves and cares for me--a demonstration of his grace which lifted my spirits and made me feel worthy.
