My name is Violet, I have Diabeties and I have Bi-polar. But those things are not who i am, just body processes that i'm currently dealing with. Who I am is a Child of God, the wife of an amazing husband, and a person in love with Life. I enjoy walking, working out, Tae Kwon Do. I love Snoopy, Poetry, Music, and playing chess. I love sunsets especially over the ocean. I am Native American, Italian, and Irish. I am a Social Worker, and sometimes don't feel like i can do my job, but i'm very proud of the work I do get to do. I use to be a Youth minister, and would very much like to get back into that, when the time is Right. I love people, all people, but I worship only one Savior, Jesus Christ my Lord and King.
I am a Christian so God is first in my life, then comes my sweet Husband, Poetry, Music, Exercizing, walking, going to the beach, Chess, Baseball, and chatting online.

New to diabetes, frustrated and need not only help, advice, and education, but mostly support. This is physically, emotionally, and spiritiually trying on me. I need strength.
I saw the doc. and found out i'm BP, i am apparently rapid cycling. I am hyper most of the time and get A LOT DONE, but its the lows, poor impulse control, and anger that i know i need to treat.. So currently i'm trying to have the strength to take my medication. With the support of my wonderful husband and my awesome friends. I'm working toward this goal.
Just found out yesterday after a visit to the ER that i have been diagnosed Type I. I've been being treated, or so i though as Type II. I am now trying to understand my body better, with this new diagnoses.
