Grief Group: Emotions Mood
Thursday, April 17, 2008

Grief Group Week 2: Emotions.  In the first week, we discussed the grief phase of shock.  Chapter two is about expressing emotions, mostly through tears.  It touched on how men are taught not to cry.  But also it talks about how important it is to get your feelings out.

I went swimming after work, before group, and while in the hot tub, I cried "I was robbed" (about the miscarriage).

Even though they prayed at group, still no cat.

I wonder why I don't cry. It feels like if I did I would be overwhelmed by the fear.

Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry that kitty is still gone! I'll keep praying!
I know what ou mean on the "robbed" thing. It's still taking me some time to make ammends with God for my loss.

I'm sorry to hear kitty is still gone. I hope it shows up soon. It is good to cry and get your feelings out.
