I really, really considered calling in sick (of it) today.

Called Power company and for the first time someone talked to a manager.  She approved the check, which I already thought was approved, and they said they would cut it Tues. and I should get it by the end of next week -- so we'll see if it comes before or after I get paid, like I said.

Why am I having all these financial weirdnesses?*  I wonder if it's because mercury is retrograde?  When does it go direct?  sheesh

*I had ordered this product, sheer cover (makeup) and it turned out to be a club, they want to send you stuff every so often and keep charging you.  So I'm going to have to return the second order that alerted me to that problem and then wait to be refunded 4-6 weeks.  I also ordered a Bender Ball and caught the same type of problem before the second shipment.  And then I had this item from Amazon.com, which turned out to be a prime membership charge $79, which they are going to reverse over the next few days.  Argh!!!!!!!!!
