    • Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

      I was dx with PCOS in 1999. My first OBGYN gave me clomid and met for 10months with no monitoring at all. After this I switched dr and my dh was tested, to only find out that he had a low sperm count. So our odds are really stacked against us. We do not have amy insurance to cover our infertilty treatment. So we just try each month and pray that this is the month god grants us a miracle.

      10 months no monitoring
      Metformin Somewhat Helpful
      just really bad side effects
      Provera Working / Worked
      Used when I would not have aperiod for two months.
      Low Carb Diet Working / Worked
      Lost a total of 30lbs in about 4 months, but starting to gain it back and still watching what I eat.
