Ok, well i talked to my counselor today, and he had an opening on monday at 4. i went ahead and took the appointment, and i'm going to tell mike about it tonight. if he doesn't go, or says no, i'm going to have to assume that he isn't willing to work on our relationship, and so we need to part ways. so, i guess we'll just have to see how all this goes. and there is a part of me that can see mike going in there, and acting like this is all on me, and like it's all my problem and he is completely innocent. he told me that he doesn't understand where his mother is a problem, and that i'm overreacting. thanks honey. love you too. anyway. i guess i need to give him the appt. time and get that done. i'll keep you all posted. i am working on lunch at this point, am hoping to keep it down. thanks for all your support!!!

i think that's a good idea...and he better go to the counselor with you! If he is willing to work on the relationship then he will, and if not then it just shows what things would be like in the future... Good luck and let me know how it goes! Be strong and keep your lunch down!

Good for you. That's awsome that you initiated the first step. And looking at the situation from Mike's perspective, I bet that he just doesn't understand where you are coming from. It is hard for people who don't suffer from an ED to understand even if you explain it to them. He obviously cares about you and hopefully realizes how much it would mean to you if he went to the appointment. I'm praying for you!!
