Close Ovarian Cancer
On February 4 2008, I had surgery to remove two tennis balls size cysts. At this time a complete hysterectomy with samples of lymph nodes. Approx 3 weeks later i receieved dx of Stage 3 OV CA. On March 5th, I had another surgery for the IP port for Chemo treatments. I have had one Chemo treatment so far.
Treatments
- Carboplatin Working / Worked
- two cycles of this with taxol though IV, had muscle & leg aches, hair loss. other than that not to much to complain about with this treatment.
- Chemotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- Only received one treatment so far. A few side affects so far are the leg and joint pain.
