Well, thanks! I'm not sure what I said to deserve the compliment, but I'm happy to receive it!
If you saw me on my bike, you might not be so impressed. Huff, puff, wheeze. But, my breathing, as well as my muscle fatigue are topics for discussion (hopefully) with the new doc on Wednesday. Back to the bike... a couple of weeks ago, when I was feeling pretty strong, I was coming back home, up the hill, off my seat, standing on the pedals so I didn't have to shift down. I passed this old-timer (70's I'd say), who was doing some yard work, and he said "Wish I could still do that." I was so winded that I couldn't even respond.
Oh I see - thanks for sharing that! :) I'm feeling better although had a horrible weekend with chest pains and racing heart again. It has passed now but was quite scary again at the time. Maybe it was a panic attack. I can only see the Doctor end of the month. I am down to 1 a day of Hexarone now but still taking the warfarin. I'm not sure what the future holds regarding this medication!!
I think you're right about medical orgs not taking support seriously.
How do you keep checking your rythm. I had cardio version last weekend and my heart is beating quite slow - well to me it seems slower. I am still very out of breath though.
I was just diagnosed on a routine check-up but I think an allergic reaction to an antibiotic kicked it off. Still pretty scared. Seeing cardiologist 3/25/08.
