I'd like to believe that I am a down to earth practial mum. I have 2 lovely children a 9 year old boy and 12 year old girl and a beautiful feline. By profession I am a personal assistant and work part time to enable me to spend time with my kids after school. Passionate about animals, cooking and my surroundings.

Close Brain / CNS Tumors
Type: OligodendrogliomaMy husband suffered 4 sizures and was rushed to hospital.The MRI scan has revealed a tumor in the brain and he subsequently had a surgery to obtain a sample for the biopsy.The neurosurgeon informed us that it is a Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma grade 2.5/3 and suggested radiotherapy as the first treatment followed by surgery which should be done fairly quickly.The radio-onco thinks that we should wait 5 months for the tumor to get aggresive for the treatment to be effective.
