Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI've battled my depression off and on for most of my life. Starting as a side effect of being molested as a child, my depression didn't reach debilitating levels until I reached adulthood.
Treatments
- Effexor Not Working
- Although I gained an increase in motivation I began to snap at loved ones.
- Positive Thinking Somewhat Helpful
- This approach worked only in combination with regular exercise to "work out" the demons.
- Prozac Not Working
- Became terribly ill for weeks until I quit. It had little effect upon my depression.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I strongly advise anyone with similar problems to seek counseling.
Close Breakups & Divorce
Divorced years ago and although hurt from it, that pain was nothing compared to what I'm feeling after losing my fiance. We were together four years and I can't seem to let her go.
Treatments
- Music Not Working
- Too often there are songs that make the heart ache with longing.
Open Child Support & Custody
I am a divorced dad who adores his two children, what parent here doesn't love their kids?
Open Single Dads
Nearly half time Dad doing work of both parents most of the time to my two kids.
