About Me
I am a 37 year old mom of twins. They were born at 26 weeks and by some miracle they managed to survive. My son struggled more than my daughter and was only home for 5 1/2 months after being in the hospital for 10 when he passed away 2-3-08. I still have not accepted that all of this is real. My heart aches all the time.

Close Premature Birth
My twins wore born at 26 weeks. My daughter is fine. My son had many challanges. He had subglottic stenosis (narrowing of the trachea)from being intabated so many times and had to have a trach put in. It was supposed to be temporary but on 2-3-08 his trach tube got clogged. We did a emergency trach change but his trachea had collapsed. We did CPR until the ambulance got here but he never came back to us and passed away at 15 months and 11 days.
