JC1958's Profile

Feeling: Excellent  - Excellent
Gender: Male
Age: 49
Location: Superior, WI
Interests:
I am a Mason and find this to be, besides my relationship with my wife and children, the most important interest I have. It is very historic and the lessons I have learned and the good that I see this fraternity doing for children everywhere is most uplifting. I am also a Shriner and a Scottish Rite Mason. Both very honorable orginizations.
About Me:
I am a 49 year old from wisconsin. I retired from the US Coast Guard in 1997. Work full time as a diesel truck technician specializing in Detroit Diesel and Allison Transmissions. I have been married to my very beautiful wife Kathy for going on 27 years. I was hit with the MS bug in feb 2006. It has been an interesting change of life but but not to use a cliche " what can't kill us, serves only to make us stronger" I believe this.

 Smoking Addiction & Recovery
Started smoking just after high school graduation, 1977. Went into the Coast Guard the sept following, the habit could have and should have been stopped in boot camp, you were'nt allowed to smoke till your 5th week in, but soon as the green light went on I went right back to it. Stopped smoking during the day on 9 march and stopped completely on 27 march, using chantix sure does help, I am very motivated.
Treatments
 Chantix (Working / Worked)
Did not get the common side effects, maybe some mild dream enhancements. I have been smoke free for 14 days as of the 10 of April. Working quite well.
 Nicotine Patch (Not Working)
To easy to just take the patch off and smoke
