Close Alcoholism
I became a binge drinker in the 80's with breaks that lasted up to six months. Lost my drivers license in 1991. Served time in Cook county jail. I had been journaling since 1997 and through my journaling I began a sincere relationship with God. On 2-27-04 the brightest white light came pounding through my window. I indeed had a spiritual awakening from GOD. A Divine intervention if you will. Best thing I ever did. My worst day sober is better than my best day drunk. Love the sober life

- it's a very hard thing to do when you really take a good look at yourself.

- Love the stories and the fellowship.
- Cold Turkey Working / Worked
- Spiritual awakening or divine Intervention if you will.

- I sleep better and my moods are more evenly balanced.
