My sister is visiting Mood
Sunday, March 16, 2008 | A Venting story

We stayed up very late last night.  I'm glad she came by herself so we can talk about whatever.  I vented quite a bit about Jeremy's life and death.  He slept in his car because his dad never offered him a place to sleep. His dad lives in Mobile...in the same town.   Jeremy lived with me here in PA, then  his sister and then brother in Mobile for the last year and a half.  I know he is grown but every family has a Jeremy to take care of, if you truly love them.  I know Jeremy is responsible for himself, for his choices but his dad could have offered. He always said the odds were always against him.  I would tell him to cut it out, things were improving in his life.  Approximately 1000 people die year in the U.S. of carbon monoxide poisoning...out of what...a billion or two?  Jeremy was one of the 1000?  The odds.

I saw Jeremy standing in my room this morning. Just a flash.  His brother told him to come up here to stay with me.  I told him thank you.

Your so lucky he visited you. I've only seen Matthew in my dreams, and of course heard his voice. I will light a candle tonight here in Los Angeles in honor of Jeremy's life and his mothers love for him. Sending you some of the little strength I have, praying for you. Love and tears, Lynette ~ Matthews mom
