My husband and I have been married 4 years (this June) and we enjoy spending time on our boat in the summer. The main love of our lives is our yellow labrador retriever. I live in IL too. I got pregnant once on my own and lost my son at 25 weeks and have been trying for a year since to get pregnant again. I'm just starting infertility treatments.

Close Miscarriage
My huband and I were elated to finally be pregnant. We lost the baby at 12 weeks. Needless to say we were devastated. The aftermath of my D&C was not "normal." I had elevated HCG levels for 14 weeks accompanied with random, massive bleeding. It's now been 9 months since our miscarriage and we are desperate to conceive again. I'm sad and upset that it isn't happening right away. Then I feel guilty because I know that others have suffered much longer than we have. We continue to pray.
Treatments
- D&C Working / Worked
Close Infertility
It's now been 10 months since my miscarriage. I get positive ovulation tests each month and also track my basal body temperature. My cycles are regular and I live a very healthy lifestyle. We are hitting all of the right days (several days before and and 2 days after ovulation) Even though my first pregnancy didn't make it to full term I can't understand why I can't get pregnant again?! We are basically hoping for some answers in two months when we can seek infertility treatment.
Treatments
- Basal Thermometer Working / Worked
- I can track my temperature spike perfectly. But it's still not leading to pregnancy
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- taking a prenatal vitamin since before miscarriage
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Working / Worked
- Get positive tests each month on the same day.
- Progesterone Working / Worked
- My levels have been checked and seem to be on the mark.
