I wanted to thank you for responding to my posting. My husband and I have felt like we're the only ones going through this and it's comforting to know there are others out there. Even though, I'd give anything to change it so NO ONE had to go through it. Thank you again!

Close Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
daughter that had been dx. with ODD, now we are looking at something else, had been a member ofthis group. but had to re join for some reason,old user name was jbugsmom,
Close Autism / Autism Spectrum
have a 12 yr.old daughter who may have pdd. have been a member here before user name was jbugsmom, had to start over with a new name, do not know why,.

Open Depression in Children
We have a 12 yr. old daughter that has just been dx. with major mood disorder,(depression)
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- She refuses to talk, it has been nice for me to go.
- Risperdal Not Working
- side effects were horrible,
- Writing Working / Worked
- I cannot get her to write, but I keep a journal of things to go back on,
- Zoloft Somewhat Helpful
- she has been on this since 2nd grade. we just now raised the dosage
Open ADHD / ADD
Have a 12 yr. old daughter being treated for ODD/ADHD/severe mood disorder.
Treatments
- Adderall Working / Worked
- she did good for awhile then started having some major side effects.
- Music Working / Worked
- she loves to listen to music and this seems to calm her down,
- Vyvanse Working / Worked
- we are getting ready to try this,
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- horrible side effects.
