About Me
I am a divorced 43 year old woman with no children. I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis. I had lap surgery but that did not work. My doctor is trying to get me to take Lupron as a cure. I am very scared as I have read so many horror stories. Seeing the stories makes me just want to live with the pain. I was also diagnosed with Chrones disease when I was 18. I had emergency surgery when I was 33 and have been symptom free since.
Interests
I love the outdoors. That is the reason I moved to California. I like to hang out by the beach. I also like to golf and play tennis.

Close Endometriosis
My doctor wants me to start Lupron and I am terrified! Can anyone give me advice? Please.

Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- Avoided all corn products, including popcorn. No peanuts or fresh fruits or vegetables, all canned and soft. Not so bad.
- Flagyl Somewhat Helpful
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Worked for the pain and inflamation but the side effects were horrible! Gained a ton of weight and was so bloated. Irritable and had no sleep. Will never take it again no matter what!
- Remicade Not Working
- Did not work for me. No side effects.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- Removed part of my intestine which caused me all the pain from the chrones. Have had no symptoms of the chrones since. My stomach isn't what it used to be (physically) but I was cured.
Open Chronic Pain
Had laproscopic surgery for endometriosis 2x.I have had persistant pain in my bladder area since & nothing can be found. May be scar tissue I had from surgery I had 10 years ago.My endo pain seems worse. Pain in my upper legs and the last few days in my lower back. I do not want more surgery,no hysterectomy! I am on vicodin ES & take 1/2 at a time which is all I need to take the edge off.My doctor doesn't want to keep giving it to me.I also take a antidepressant but doesn't help. What is next?
