This week I found myself in a hard place. I really try to be upbeat and look at the bright side even when I find myself in a dark place. We had a rainstorm in Boston and while I was driving in my car, the rain began to pour from the sky heavy and strong. I could no longer see what was in front or behind so I pulled over and put on my hazard lights. I said "Lord I am scared" because I thought I was going to die at that time. I had six children in the car and we all was scared. I called my mom and told her I will pull over and each time I get visablity, I will drive closer to home. When we arrived at the house, we ran in one by one. To tell you the truth, if we had to evacuate the car, I would rather be running distance from my house. Anyway thank God we were safe. He carries me even when I don't deserve it. His grace is always there for me. Now that is cool.

Good woman, you are such a gift to me. Would I have ever thought of looking up Rob Bell's videos without reading this journal entry of yours? I'm watching it now, a couple of quotes:
"God says, 'when you cry out to me, I listen. I cannot ignore the cry of somebody who is afflicted'... God even says that when you cry, he is close to the brokenhearted"
It isn't like I hadn't heard these ideas before. But the images and his spoked voice in this video, it was there for me through my storms in a way like never before. They are long videos, but nice for nighttime or the early morning. I hope you like them!
