Just wanted to add a note that about 2 weeks ago my doctor says I am cured of Acromegaly. I may still have some aches in my joints or some high blood pressure but those are just after facts of acromegaly. I can live with that. No more 8 pills a day and horrible neck and shoulder pain , no more jaw pain, anixiey,depression,ear pain and swollen eye and face,sweating,insommia,big nose and lips and what ever eles I can't think of right now..I have this wish for everyone who suffers from ACROMEGALY may all you pain go away. Even if for some strange reason this does not last for ever at least I have today.I will still get blood test every six months for a while,just in case this monster does show its nasty self again maybe we can catch it earlier.

So were all your blood tests normal? Your news sounds very similar to mind about eight months ago....but my tests weren't normal and now they are all over the place! Not to bring you off cloud nine ( I am not trying to be debby downer) but just make sure you keep up on the tests every six months!!! It is very important....THE SENSE OF FREEDOM FROM ACROMEGALY IS SOOOO AWESOME!!!!!!! GO CELEBRATE, CHICK!!!!!!
