      I have just come out of an abusive relationship and would really like to chat with people who have experienced the same. My ex was mainly emotionally abusive but also physically abusive. It hurt me so much and still does. Its my second abusive relationship (my children's father was abusive - but this was 20 years ago and I find it hard to comprehend why I have again put up with this and not walked away sooner. It seemed though that this last relationship gradually became abusive.
