too soon. It's always over before you want it to be. Too quick. All that is good and fun.

I had a family reunion this weekend. It was great. There's just something about this side of the family that makes everything all right. To start with, they're laid back. You get s lot of hugs from everybody. That's the best part. You feel loved and needed and a part of it all. My husband once said, "I'd rather be around your family than mine any day."

They are all simple, country folk. Just to give you an example, we got there first. Then one of my uncles showed up. I went to introduce him to my son's girlfriend and he was hugging her before I could get the introductions out. It is wonderful. You see, there was 16 kids in the whole family. I know this isn't such a big deal for the time period. But there were 15 boys and one girl! Now that is really something. And they weren't having boys until they had a girl. Aunt Pauline was about the fifth one from the bottom. My family sits around and talks about the things that went one when they were growing  up. It is wonderful.

I got to see my brother. I only get to see him about once a year. Mostly the only time I see him is at the reunion. I hear that there are things going on in his life, well I would rather not go into that here. But the great thing is that he gave me the biggest hug and I really mean a BIG hug. He gave me a sensere hug and even hugged a little tighter when I gave a little snifle. That was encouraging.

But the greatest thing was the fact that my hubby was wonderful. He made my bed for me. He talked to my dad without being prompted. He sat and listened to my uncles talking. He didn't go fishing as much as I thought he would. All these things together were great.

and over all, I had a great time. It was fun. My blood presure and blood sugar stayed low. Did't get high once. I felt good until last night. Then, well. . .I passed out!
