HI IM NEW TO THE GROUPOF AGORAPHOBICS I JUST WANTED TO SAY,I RAISED FOUR CHILDREN THE OLDEST IS 38 THE YOUNGEST IS 5 AND I AM DOING IT WITH THE HELP OF MY HUSBAND AND GOD YOU CAN DO IT TO I DONT KNOW WHO TO ADD TO MY FRIENDS LIST CUZ I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT YOU ALL I HAVE HAD THIS FOR 22 YRS AND I CAN GET OUT OF THE HOUSE WITH PLANING AND SOME COACHING PLUS I HAVE MY DRIVERS LICENSE SO I CAN GO FIVE MILES IN ALL FOUR DIRECTIONS FROMMY HOUSE MY COMFORT ZONE FORMEALONE BUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN THAT I MUST HAVE MY HUSBAND,I ALSO HAVE OTHER DISABILITYS IF YOU WLD LIKE TO READ THEM OR ANYONE ELSE WHO WLD BE SUITED TO ME BALANCED OUT I DONT MIND Q ABOUT THIS BUT NEEDA FRIEND TO TALK ABOUT IT SO READ MY JOURNAL AND THINK ABOUT ALL YOU KNOW THERE I JUST FOUND THIS SITE SAT. Close Grandparents Raising Children
My husband and I have our grandson 95% of the time. Our daughter comes to see him a night or two every couple of weeks. His dad sees him when he feels like it. They are never consistant.
Close Phobia
Type: Agoraphobia (fear of open spaces)I am scared to leave my house. I have to fight panic attacks just to go out on th front porch. It takes atleast a couple of days of planning to get me out of the house. I am raising my grandson and don't want it to be this way!
Treatments
- Acceptance Somewhat Helpful
- There are days that it works and other days that it doesn't.
- Wellbutrin Somewhat Helpful
- Again there are just days that nothing seems to work.
