how is Gabapentin working for you? i think that is generic for neurontin which made progressively unfunctional and i now have muscle twitching in my legs... how much are you taking? i was on 600mg at night... take care & be careful with that stuff!

ty so much for the links I need to copy them. I didnt think we could write much when giving hugs. the last time I tried it wouldnt let me hmm. I also got blocked from the site when I first came on for talking to much lol.. maybe that was why. Knowing whether I can get help with my meds will help me decide on whether to leave my husband or not. Ive just been surviving the only way I know how and Im tired of living on that level. I need to fight but I'm tired of my adult children telilng me I have to do it alone I get no support from them whatsoever except one son but he is busy raising his own family.. ya know.

welcome to DS, i hope you find this to be a great place for support. i didn't take Lyrica but doc put me on neurontin, i was fine w/300mg but when i went to 600, i became progressively over a week non-functional so i weaned off. hope you find something that works, i am on a quest to myself but so far the only drug i take is 1/2 an ambein to get to sleep-- for some reason this is the most painful part of the day for me and i need something to help turn off the switch. take care!

Close Fibromyalgia
I was diagnosed with fibro about 6 years ago after years of experiencing this awful illness. Being a type A personality, I just thought the daily stresses of everyday life were getting to me. Wrong. I am a little bit better than I was before any meds, but am far from feeling normal. I just keep wishing for a miracle.
Treatments
- Cyclobenzaprine Somewhat Helpful
- I use this when the knots in my back are so painful that I could just cry. It does help.
- Guaifenesin Somewhat Helpful
- Didn't really have any side effects, but didn't seem to make much of a difference.
- Lyrica Not Working
- Just quit taking this drug due to the bad side effects. Had bad migraine headaches, and it really affected my behavior. Depression and moodiness all of the time. May work well for someone else, just not for me.
